In his private life he is the father of a family, and a gardener and volunteer firefighter in his spare time.

Aleks loves to develop technical innovations and he is convinced of the benefits of open source software. He is very familiar with the architecture of translate5’s functions and as such is always open to discussing the details with other software developers. His main personal focus is lifelong learning.

With over 15 years of experience in the translation industry, I bring the perfect combination of linguistic finesse and technical understanding. I see myself as a mediator between the worlds of our clients, users, and developers, and I love making complex matters easy to understand while bringing together different perspectives to create successful solutions.

We don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training, which is why fighter pilots spend countless hours in training. In software development, the fundamental building blocks are data structures and algorithms which have a huge impact on the longevity and sustainability of software as it evolves.

As an IT-savvy specialist translator, I am deeply immersed in the world of CAT tools, with hands-on experience in agencies and language services, and a thorough understanding of their benefits, challenges, and peculiarities. Through my company, Langtexy GmbH, I work in various capacities — as a language technologist, specialist translator, consultant, and problem solver — for translation agencies and language service providers. Additionally, I create user documentation, such as for translate5, to provide optimal support for end users.
